Campaigns

The VWG has initiated various campaigns in recent years.

In 2019 we campaigned against the changes to the Victorian Births, Deaths and Marriages legislation that allows a 'change of sex' to recorded on a person's birth certificate with nothing more than a statutory declaration.

In 2021 we campaigned to alert politicians and the public of the unintended consequences that would flow from the Victorian Change or Suppression (Conversion) Practices Prohibition Bill.

In 2021 we partnered with the Australian Staniland Question Collective in their campaign.

We are currently examining the proposed Anti-vilification recommendations.
